Zachary Trebellas
Zachary Trebellas is a conceptual artist who takes inspiration from the culture and history around him. He is inspired by older forms of creativity like folk art and depression-era public art, both of which insert art into people's everyday experiences and reflect the culture in which they are made. His goal as an artist is to put his audience at the forefront of his work and use art to celebrate, inquire into, and memorialize their lives. Originally from Chicagoland, he studied art history at Columbia College and currently resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
